Happy with my lead rope

Got a heavy duty rope lead for my mare. It's really nice! The color was just like the picture online. Came in about 5 days, which was faster than I thought it would be. Overall, a good experience and the lead feels like it will last a long time.

Love my new reins!

I just received my custom split reins and I absolutely LOVE them! The colors are even brighter in person and the rope feels amazing. So sturdy, I know these will hold up for ages. They shipped super fast too! I'm already planning my next order, probably a matching halter. Seriously, you guys are the best!

Good rope halter

I ordered a custom rope halter. It shipped pretty quick, took about a week. The quality is solid. My horse seems comfortable in it. Happy with the purchase.

Consistent quality, returning customer

I've ordered from Reins For Rescues several times now, and they've always been reliable. This time I got a new set of loop reins and a couple of saddle charms. Like my previous orders for custom halters, the quality is consistently high. The rope is always soft but durable, and the custom colors always turn out great. Shipping was standard, about a week, which is what I've come to expect. It's why I keep coming back for my tack needs; they deliver on what they promise.

Great custom reins and service

I needed some new barrel reins and decided to try Reins For Rescues. The customization process on the website was straightforward; I picked my colors easily. It took about 10 days for them to ship, which was stated on the site for custom items, so no surprises there. When they arrived, the reins felt very durable, good yacht rope. One of the knots was a little loose on arrival, but I contacted customer service and they responded quickly with instructions on how to tighten it, which worked perfectly. They feel good in my hands and my horse responds well. Plus, knowing a portion goes to rescues is a nice bonus.

Are their products actually good quality? Like, are they legit and durable or just look pretty?

A Abigail Turner 2 weeks ago
Super legit! The rope is really nice, holds up well. I've had my halter for over a year and it still looks great after a lot of use.

Totally. I was a bit skeptical but everything I've gotten from them is solid. My bitless bridle feels really sturdy, not flimsy at all.

Can you return custom items if they don't fit? Or if the color isn't quite what you expected?

A Amanda Phillips 2 weeks ago
Nah, custom stuff is usually final sale. Most places that do custom work don't take returns because it's made just for you. Double check your measurements!

I think for custom, you're probably out of luck unless it's a defect. Standard items are fine for returns afaik.

Hey guys, thinking about getting some custom reins for my mare. How long does it usually take for custom stuff to ship out from Reins For Rescues?

A Amber K. 4 days ago
Mine took about 2 weeks from order to delivery, and I'm in Texas. It's handmade so def not Amazon quick but worth the wait.

Yeah, if you get something custom, it's not super fast. Plan for like 10-14 days for them to make it and then ship it. Standard items are quicker though.

What's the deal with their mission? Like how much actually goes to rescues?

O Olivia Gomez 5 days ago
I'm not sure of the exact percentage but they definitely do donate. I've seen posts on their social media about specific rescues they've helped. It's a genuine thing.

It's a big part of their business model, supporting rescues. I don't think they state an exact number, but the whole brand is built around it. Pretty cool.

Anyone know how their split reins compare to Two Horse Tack? Looking for something that feels good in hand but also tough.

S Sam Clark 1 month ago
I've used both and honestly, RFR feels a bit more substantial to me, like the rope is higher quality. Two Horse is good too but I prefer the feel of RFR.

They're pretty comparable, I think. RFR definitely has more unique color options though. Durability-wise, both are solid.

Do they ever have sales? Or like a first-time buyer discount code?

J Justin M. 1 day ago
Yeah, I got 10% off my first order when I signed up for their email list. Keep an eye out for holiday sales too, especially around Black Friday.

They do! Follow some of the rescue accounts on Instagram, sometimes they have ambassador codes for like 15% off. Black Friday is usually a good time too.
